Jose was quick to respond to my request. He came out promptly to access and give me a quote on the work that I wanted to get done. His quote was reasonable for the amount of work. We set a date to get it done. I had to change the date and he was agreeable to reschedule and on that date he was on time early with his crew. The work was done in a short amount of time. They cleared all the overgrown junk trees, trimmed trees and then cleared all the debris and hauled it away. When they finished I could actually see all the fence and the entire yard. Jose and team did a great job. We put the job out to bid and he was the only vendor to make suggestions to keep the trees shape while the others wanted to hack at them to trim. The finished job looked amazing and we were very happy with the service, communication, price and cleanliness of the work. Servins tree care did a wonderful job. It’s been several years since our trees were trimmed. They were starting to grow over the roof which was just replaced a couple years ago. Jose Servin and his team trimmed a total of 7 oaks and one crape myrtle yesterday. He is timely with appointments and even keeps in touch the day prior. The trees are looking their best in the 15 years I have them. The men worked fast and well together. The whole team is well equipped with safety helmet, eye and hearing protection & clothing, safety ropes, the works. There is also a wood chipper and debris removal truck. I had a tree that was hit by lightening months ago. A family member assured me that I had plenty of time to get it cut down. Turns out the tree died FAST!! On Thursday, October 28, 2021, Houston had super high winds that took down a lot of trees and knocked out power. I promised myself then and there that I would move forward with getting estimates to have the tree removed. Servin's Tree Care was recommended to me by a colleague. They provided the fastest and most-economical estimate for the tree removal and stump grinding. They scheduled our tree removal for the following Monday, November 1st. They had a crew of three and artfully removed the tree without incident within four hours. We had the honor of meeting Jose before Hurricane Beryl that hit Houston on July 7th 2024, we had originally called him to trim our 200 yo Red Oak, he was in awe with the beauty of the tree, immediately noticed we had a momma woodpecker living up high in the tree which he said he would need to save/relocate before starting the trimming process.
