Jose was quick to respond to my request. He came out promptly to access and give me a quote on the work that I wanted to get done. His quote was reasonable for the amount of work. We set a date to get it done. I had to change the date and he was agreeable to reschedule and on that date he was on time early with his crew. The work was done in a short amount of time. They cleared all the overgrown junk trees, trimmed trees and then cleared all the debris and hauled it away. When they finished I could actually see all the fence and the entire yard. We had the honor of meeting Jose before Hurricane Beryl that hit Houston on July 7th 2024, we had originally called him to trim our 200 yo Red Oak, he was in awe with the beauty of the tree, immediately noticed we had a momma woodpecker living up high in the tree which he said he would need to save/relocate before starting the trimming process. We immediately knew we found the right guy for the job!! Fast forward, the tree succumbed to the high winds that came through Sugarland. The tree was uprooted and now in tree heaven. LOL We called him back to cut it up, but was honest enough to say he wasn’t prepared for the size and heavy equipment required, which we appreciated. His honesty kept him #1 on our list. Servins tree care did a wonderful job. It’s been several years since our trees were trimmed. They were starting to grow over the roof which was just replaced a couple years ago. I gotta say, Servin's Tree Care has got to be the best bang for my buck. If Best customer service was a company, it's Servin's Tree Care. He was highly communicative, friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I booked him during the so called Freeze of January 2026, and he called and said even though he was booked, he would squeeze me into his busy Thursday schedule and made sure my trees were taken care of beforehand. Mind you my appointment wasn't until the next day Friday afternoon. When they arrived, you could tell they are professionals because Jose and his crew got off the truck and went to work immediately! Jose Servin and his team trimmed a total of 7 oaks and one crape myrtle yesterday. He is timely with appointments and even keeps in touch the day prior. The trees are looking their best in the 15 years I have them. The men worked fast and well together. The whole team is well equipped with safety helmet, eye and hearing protection & clothing, safety ropes, the works. There is also a wood chipper and debris removal truck. They removed a few branches that needed it and then trimmed all around. This was not only good for the tree, but needed to dead or nearly dead limbs won't fall on our roof during high winds. They run a well established operation. Had proof of insurance as requested with the quote, showed up properly geared with safety, did not make a lot of unnecessary yelling and noise. Worked the entire time besides a lunch break (could hear the saws). Jose and his crew were true professionals. I had a tree that was hit by lightening months ago. A family member assured me that I had plenty of time to get it cut down. Turns out the tree died FAST!! On Thursday, October 28, 2021, Houston had super high winds that took down a lot of trees and knocked out power. I promised myself then and there that I would move forward with getting estimates to have the tree removed. Servin's Tree Care was recommended to me by a colleague. They provided the fastest and most-economical estimate for the tree removal and stump grinding. They scheduled our tree removal for the following Monday, November 1st. They had a crew of three and artfully removed the tree without incident within four hours. I wouldn’t use anyone else. These guys are awesome! Great communication, always show when they say they will and they are fast! They have both removed and trimmed very overgrown trees for me and do a very nice job. They also clean up like they were never there. Pricing is also fair.
