I gotta say, Servin's Tree Care has got to be the best bang for my buck. If Best customer service was a company, it's Servin's Tree Care. He was highly communicative, friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I booked him during the so called Freeze of January 2026, and he called and said even though he was booked, he would squeeze me into his busy Thursday schedule and made sure my trees were taken care of beforehand. Mind you my appointment wasn't until the next day Friday afternoon. When they arrived, you could tell they are professionals because Jose and his crew got off the truck and went to work immediately! They run a well established operation. Had proof of insurance as requested with the quote, showed up properly geared with safety, did not make a lot of unnecessary yelling and noise. Worked the entire time besides a lunch break (could hear the saws). Jose and his crew were true professionals. Communication and coordination given the weather and my specific requests were top notch and pleasantly so. Sales/bid visit was best in class among other providers with over 100 reviews in 5-star category, he won't just tell you what he will do, he will point out exact branches and areas he will clear out in a way you cannot possibly misunderstand. They cared for my property and respected me and the property, as well as my neighbors' properties. They went out and put a tarp in the neighbor's property to prevent leaves and debris from making a mess by the pool and in the pool. Jose Servin and his team trimmed a total of 7 oaks and one crape myrtle yesterday. He is timely with appointments and even keeps in touch the day prior. The trees are looking their best in the 15 years I have them. The men worked fast and well together. The whole team is well equipped with safety helmet, eye and hearing protection & clothing, safety ropes, the works. There is also a wood chipper and debris removal truck. We had the honor of meeting Jose before Hurricane Beryl that hit Houston on July 7th 2024, we had originally called him to trim our 200 yo Red Oak, he was in awe with the beauty of the tree, immediately noticed we had a momma woodpecker living up high in the tree which he said he would need to save/relocate before starting the trimming process. We immediately knew we found the right guy for the job!! Fast forward, the tree succumbed to the high winds that came through Sugarland. The tree was uprooted and now in tree heaven. Jose's team was on-time, careful about the work they did, did a great job on a 50+ year old pecan tree and an oak tree that's about the same age. They removed a few branches that needed it and then trimmed all around. This was not only good for the tree, but needed to dead or nearly dead limbs won't fall on our roof during high winds. They cleared all the overgrown junk trees, trimmed trees and then cleared all the debris and hauled it away. When they finished I could actually see all the fence and the entire yard. Jose and team did a great job. We put the job out to bid and he was the only vendor to make suggestions to keep the trees shape while the others wanted to hack at them to trim. The finished job looked amazing and we were very happy with the service, communication, price and cleanliness of the work. Also to add, my neighbor wanted her trees done and they were able to do them, same day, and within the window they projected. Matter of fact they were done sooner than planned. I had a tree that was hit by lightening months ago. A family member assured me that I had plenty of time to get it cut down. Turns out the tree died FAST!! On Thursday, October 28, 2021, Houston had super high winds that took down a lot of trees and knocked out power. I promised myself then and there that I would move forward with getting estimates to have the tree removed. Servin's Tree Care was recommended to me by a colleague. They provided the fastest and most-economical estimate for the tree removal and stump grinding. They scheduled our tree removal for the following Monday, November 1st. They had a crew of three and artfully removed the tree without incident within four hours. A neighbor of mine had a tree in very close proximity removed (the stump remains) and it took that company two full days to remove and they dropped all kind of debris onto my roof and carport. Mr. Servin runs an excellent tree care business and I intend to use him for all my tree needs in the future and have already started recommending him to family and friends. Professional and kind, honest about what should and should get removed or preserved, courteous about our pups, neighbors and home and even did a few extra things to please. 10/10 would recommend!
