We had 2 large Mulberry trees that were pretty rotten, and were becoming a safety issue. We had Servins Tree Care come out and take a look at them, and they confirmed that we should remove them. They were very professional, and safety conscious. Jose and his crew did a really great job in just a couple of hours! Our big tree in the backyard needed a trim and it looks so refreshed now. The guys also made sure to not disturb a bird's nest on one of the branches. There is a ton of light and space with the other tree bushes removed too. Servins tree care did a wonderful job. It’s been several years since our trees were trimmed. They were starting to grow over the roof which was just replaced a couple years ago. The guys are professional and amazing to watch. Jose has a very skilled crew! Price was good and I appreciate it very much. You could never even tell any work was done as the clean up was so good. I had my son laughing because I have some old raggedy silk flowers from last spring I put it my flower beds(saw it on hgtv)because this old arthritic grandma can’t garden any longer…and I told him the guys were even careful with those! Servin Tree Service came out to trim a large tree in my backyard, which had branches threatening the power line to my home in the Alief area. He came out to access the situation and was very flexible (and affordable) on the pricing. On the day of the service, he showed up on time and got to work right away. They run a well established operation. Had proof of insurance as requested with the quote, showed up properly geared with safety, did not make a lot of unnecessary yelling and noise. Worked the entire time besides a lunch break (could hear the saws). Jose and his crew were true professionals. Communication and coordination given the weather and my specific requests were top notch and pleasantly so. Sales/bid visit was best in class among other providers with over 100 reviews in 5-star category, he won't just tell you what he will do, he will point out exact branches and areas he will clear out in a way you cannot possibly misunderstand. They cared for my property and respected me and the property, as well as my neighbors' properties. They went out and put a tarp in the neighbor's property to prevent leaves and debris from making a mess by the pool and in the pool. On August 21st, we had an exceptional experience with Servin’s Tree Service for our over 50-year-old live oak tree. We received three bids, with a range of $1850 between them. Jose's team was on-time, careful about the work they did, did a great job on a 50+ year old pecan tree and an oak tree that's about the same age. They removed a few branches that needed it and then trimmed all around. This was not only good for the tree, but needed to dead or nearly dead limbs won't fall on our roof during high winds. I gotta say, Servin's Tree Care has got to be the best bang for my buck. If Best customer service was a company, it's Servin's Tree Care. He was highly communicative, friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I booked him during the so called Freeze of January 2026, and he called and said even though he was booked, he would squeeze me into his busy Thursday schedule and made sure my trees were taken care of beforehand. We had the honor of meeting Jose before Hurricane Beryl that hit Houston on July 7th 2024, we had originally called him to trim our 200 yo Red Oak, he was in awe with the beauty of the tree, immediately noticed we had a momma woodpecker living up high in the tree which he said he would need to save/relocate before starting the trimming process. They were professional and communicative from start to finish. I appreciated how they showed us proof of insurance and helped us understand which trees needed to be removed and why they needed to be removed. Jose was quick to respond to my request. He came out promptly to access and give me a quote on the work that I wanted to get done. His quote was reasonable for the amount of work. We set a date to get it done. I had to change the date and he was agreeable to reschedule and on that date he was on time early with his crew. The work was done in a short amount of time. They cleared all the overgrown junk trees, trimmed trees and then cleared all the debris and hauled it away. When they finished I could actually see all the fence and the entire yard. Jose and team did a great job. We put the job out to bid and he was the only vendor to make suggestions to keep the trees shape while the others wanted to hack at them to trim. The finished job looked amazing and we were very happy with the service, communication, price and cleanliness of the work. Also to add, my neighbor wanted her trees done and they were able to do them, same day, and within the window they projected. Matter of fact they were done sooner than planned. I had a tree that was hit by lightening months ago. A family member assured me that I had plenty of time to get it cut down. Turns out the tree died FAST!! On Thursday, October 28, 2021, Houston had super high winds that took down a lot of trees and knocked out power. I promised myself then and there that I would move forward with getting estimates to have the tree removed. Servin's Tree Care was recommended to me by a colleague. They provided the fastest and most-economical estimate for the tree removal and stump grinding. They scheduled our tree removal for the following Monday, November 1st. They had a crew of three and artfully removed the tree without incident within four hours. A neighbor of mine had a tree in very close proximity removed (the stump remains) and it took that company two full days to remove and they dropped all kind of debris onto my roof and carport. Mr. Servin runs an excellent tree care business and I intend to use him for all my tree needs in the future and have already started recommending him to family and friends.
